Comprehensive Adult Eye Exams

Eye exams are not just for those who wear glasses! The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends comprehensive eye examinations every 2 years for those 19-40, at least every 2 years for those 41-60, and annually for those over 60. The risk of many eye diseases increases as you age, and some have no symptoms until the disease is in an advanced stage! In our comprehensive eye exams, you will receive a screening for all eye diseases, in addition to any needed glasses or medical prescriptions.

Child and Teen Exams

We welcome children of all ages for eye exams. Our office is kid-friendly and offers a variety of entertainment options while in the office. Don't forget to bring in your teens as well because many vision problems can worsen more rapidly when your child is growing the fastest!  AOA recommended exam schedule

InfantSEE® Exams

Dr. Reynolds is an InfantSEE® registered optometrist. InfantSEE® is a program that offers a free first eye exam to infants ages 6 months to 1 year. Many serious vision conditions can be detected and treated early by bringing your child in for an exam before his or her 1st birthday, so don't delay...it's free!

Contact Lens Fittings

Have you ever wanted to look better and feel better about yourself? Are you just plain tired of wearing glasses? You should try contact lenses! There are more options than ever for those who desire to and are motivated to wear contact lenses. Even if you have tried and failed to be able to wear contact lenses before, go ahead and try it again...they are more comfortable than ever! We fit all types of contact lenses including: soft spherical, soft toric, soft mutifocal and GP lenses of all types.

Low Vision Exams

You may benefit from a low vision exam if you have lost vision from diabetes, macular degeneration, trauma, infection, or a multitude of other causes. From the slightly visually impaired to those who have lost most of their functional vision, we can help you! Become more independent by getting the tools you need to do common tasks you thought you could never do again.

Diabetic Eye Exams

You have probably heard from your doctor that you need annual dilated eye exams if you are diabetic, but you may not know that your neighborhood Optometrist can provide that service for you. We can screen for swelling in the eye, bleeding in the eye, and the growth of new blood vessels in the eye...all of which can be sight-threatening complications of diabetes! Make sure you bring your medical information with you to your exam including: HbA1c, last blood sugar reading, and a list of your medications.

Eye Emergencies

You may schedule immediate appointments for any eye emergency. Make sure you don't delay if you have experienced any of the following symptoms:

  • Red Eyes
  • Sudden loss of vision
  • Flashes of light
  • Sudden increase in floaters

Or any other disturbing symptoms!
